Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Beltrax collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit usa.beltrax.pe (in English or in Spanish), fill out one of our forms, book a call with us or receive our messages.

Who we are

Beltrax is the trade name of GRUPO BYP SAC, a company registered in Peru with taxpayer ID (RUC) 20606230762 and offices at Av. Grau 629, Barranco, Lima, Peru. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy (the "controller", in GDPR terms). You can reach us at contacto@beltrax.pe.

Information we collect

Information you give us.When you fill out a form, book a call or write to us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the type of business you run, the service you're interested in, your approximate monthly lead volume and anything you choose to tell us in your message.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the site we collect technical data such as your IP address, approximate location (country or city), browser and device type, the pages you visit, how you arrived at the site and how you interact with it. Part of this information comes from cookies and similar technologies, as explained in our Cookie Policy.

Information from third parties. If you reach us through an ad, the ad platform may tell us which campaign brought you to the site.

How we use your information

• To answer your inquiries, schedule calls and send you proposals.
• To provide the services you hire and manage our relationship, including invoicing and support.
• To follow up on your inquiry by email, phone or text message (texts only with your consent).
• To measure how our website and our ads perform, and to improve them.
• To show our ads to people who visited our site, when your cookie choices allow it.
• To protect our forms against spam and automated abuse.
• To comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Legal bases (EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on these legal bases:

• Steps before a contract and performance of a contract: to answer your request, prepare a proposal and provide our services.
• Consent: for analytics and advertising cookies and for text messages. You can withdraw it at any time.
• Legitimate interests: to follow up on inquiries you started, keep the site secure and improve our services, always balanced against your rights.
• Legal obligation: to keep invoices and accounting records.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the box on one of our forms, you agree to receive text messages from Beltrax about your inquiry, such as appointment confirmations, reminders and follow-ups. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of recipients described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent: this information will not be shared with any third parties.

AI assistants

We use an AI assistant and automations in our CRM to reply quickly, ask about your project and book calls. We don't make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing, and you can always ask to talk to a person on our team.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with:

• Service providers that help us run the business and act on our instructions: website hosting and content delivery, our CRM and customer communications platform (email, text messages and scheduling), email delivery, bot protection for our forms, payment processing and video calls.
• Google, for website analytics (Google Analytics) and web fonts, and Meta, to measure our ads and show them to people who visited our site (both within your cookie choices) and to deliver WhatsApp messages if you write to us there.
• A service that keeps your IP address for a few minutes to block abusive form submissions.
• Professional advisors, such as accountants and lawyers, when needed.
• Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights.
• A buyer or successor, if the business is reorganized or sold, under the same protections.

Under some US state laws, allowing Meta to use cookie data to show you our ads may count as "sharing" for targeted advertising. You can opt out at any time by rejecting cookies in the cookie settings (link at the bottom of every page), and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out.

International transfers

We are based in Peru and our service providers operate in the United States and other countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. When we transfer personal data from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we use safeguards recognized by those laws, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the provider's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

• Inquiries that don't become projects: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Client information: for as long as the relationship lasts, and afterwards for the periods required by tax and accounting laws.
• Analytics data: up to 14 months.
• Your cookie choice: until you change it or clear your browser data.

How we protect it

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to our tools, providers with recognized security standards and protection against automated abuse on our forms. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to act quickly if something happens.

Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we have about you and give you a copy.
• Correct information that is inaccurate.
• Delete your information, unless we need to keep it by law.
• Stop using it for marketing, or opt out of targeted advertising.
• Withdraw any consent you gave us, without affecting what was done before.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you also have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, to restrict processing, to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Residents of certain US states (such as California, Colorado, Virginia or Texas) have similar rights under their state laws, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising them.

To make a request, write to contacto@beltrax.pe. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we will respond within 30 days. You can also authorize an agent to make the request for you.

As a company established in Peru, we also comply with Peru's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 29733) and its regulations.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

There is no common standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, so we don't respond to them. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC): if your browser sends it, analytics and advertising cookies stay off unless you choose to accept them.

Children

Our site and services are meant for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or in the law. We'll post the new version on this page with its update date, and if the changes are significant we'll let you know through the site or by email.
